Which sets should you upload?
- 6.3″ (1206 × 2622) — required. This is what most current iPhones show.
- 6.9″ (1320 × 2868) — recommended if you want Pro Max and Plus phones to get pixel-perfect screenshots instead of scaled ones.
- 6.5″ (1284 × 2778) — only needed if you skip 6.9″.
- iPhone Duo — from April 2027, required for apps built with the iOS 27.1 SDK or later.
Because the 6.9″ and 6.3″ phones have nearly the same shape, the same design works on both. Export them from one layout instead of designing twice.
Rules
- Up to 10 screenshots per size and language; at least one.
- JPEG or PNG without an alpha channel.
- Portrait or landscape (width and height swapped).
- Exact pixels only — 1206 × 2621 is rejected.

What size are iPhone 17 screenshots?
iPhone 17 and iPhone 17 Pro use the 6.3″ Dynamic Island slot: 1206 × 2622 pixels. iPhone 17 Pro Max uses the 6.9″ slot: 1320 × 2868 pixels.
What size are iPhone 16 screenshots?
iPhone 16 and 16 Pro use 1179 × 2556 or 1206 × 2622 (6.1″/6.3″). iPhone 16 Plus and 16 Pro Max use the 6.9″ slot: 1290 × 2796 or 1320 × 2868.
Is the 6.9-inch screenshot required?
No. Since the 2026 spec update the required iPhone slot is the 6.3″ / 6.1″ Dynamic Island display. 6.9″ is optional; without it, App Store Connect scales your 6.5″ screenshots.
